Poor little Ali cried for almost an hour when we first got her but then settled down. That's not such a bad thing because that means that she had bonded with her caregiver and that is a good sign. We knew she would either cry or be unresponsive so it wasn't too much a surprise. We couldn't get her to take a bottle and she just wanted to be held at first and rocked.
We gave her a bath after getting her back and she didn't like that one bit at all! I think she was so exhausted from the 4 hour ride and all the stress of the day, she just fell right to sleep.
